There is snow in Bruce Crossing, we probably got around a foot from the store. When I go to the store, I will get back to you and let you know how the trails are.

Mrs.RB....Were you guys out Friday on 2/107/8/3? If so, we missed you guys as we did the same route. We saw the loogging crews really working it hard on the trail just south of Bond Falls rd., do you know if they are going to be working there all winter? I was going to tell Mike to stop by but it was getting late in the day and we needed to head back in.

BTW..do we still have to run the road to get over to the RB base camp from the trail?

We rode saturday 100+ miles, and yup we did the same route, we stopped in for a burger at Hoppy's and Jane said you were in. Next time your up maybe we can hook up. Not sure about the logging we have a club meeting tuesday and maybe I'll have some more info on that. Yes you have to run FR 5250 (trail150) west to old 45 and up its all unplowed and a nice ride. Or take Bond Falls rd west there is a good trail on the side of the road.

From there you can go many ways. Be sure to head up to Porcupine Mountains and Lake of the Clouds and take trail 11 and 102 back down to Lake Gogebic and back over to Bruce. I have attached a pictue of trail 11.

Another day be sure to head up to Greenland and take the trail 13 loop that comes out on trail 3 near Twin Lakes. It's a great loop but can be wet early in the year in spots.

If there's enough snow to go south, be sure to hit trail #107 and #150, awesome trails. Stop by Bond Falls for some sight seeing. Do you have a map for the area? If you have any questions, shoot me a PM. Have fun!!

MARK THE DAY YOU POSTED THAT PIC I HAD MY DAUGHTER SAVE IT AND EVER YR BY DEC 1.2OR3 IFIND IT ON MY SCREEN LOL...LOL greamlins OR MY WIFE???LOL LOL MEATHEAD

Meathead,

Yeah, it's a great picture! It made it in both Snow Goer and American Snowmobiler a couple of years ago.

Last year I was calling on a Kenworth dealer in Menomonie, and I notice the salesman has snowmobiling pictures all over his office, so we start chatting about sledding. He says "look at my computer screen saver" not having any idea who took the picture. I took a look and it was that picture too and I said "any idea who took that picture"? It was an interesting way to meet someone for the first time!

I am sorry to hear about the sleds. I am glad to hear you had a dencent time. The people that starred at you like you were zombies probably weren't from around here.

Right now there isn't that much snow in Bruce Crossing. In town the trails are pretty rocky. They get alittle better about a mile west of town. Up towards victoria. There is around a foot or more. You could get a sled, that was made the year before and save some $.
