We have found VBS vanilla bug spray made in Pekin IL works good for us and can use it on our 2 yr old grand daughter. Deet will sometimes burn my skin if sweating. You have to use the VBS more often, but it not greasy or oily and has not damaged clothing. There are several of these type vanilla sprays out there, but this one seems to work best for us.
