well what can the guy say ? he did not train his b squad. offered to take us out any time we go to med bow or tog etc etc.
told me he was going to talk with Logan etc etc.
I told him I was not going to be happy until I knew this kid was not wasting other peoples vacation days.
I wanted to know what kind of training and ride along training this kid was going to be getting.
did he know if this kid was even certified in basic cpr or any basic trauma training?
I will be following up.
Cameron gave me some I was doing a shoot in Alpine with motor fist or I would have done it my self yaada yaaada

Sounds like YOU could have been guiding HIM. I think it's time to go to the video.

I was just told about this post last night.
I do train my Guides they are all first aid, CPR and have avy training.
As I told you on the phone I am sorry about your experience and want to make it right with you. When I ask you what will make it right all I was told is that you just wanted to let me know about my guide so I could work with him more. I have talked with Logan and I am correcting the problems. I did talk to the people that he has guided and they have not had any problems with him.
I did have other obligations that weekend booked and set up in mid September so I did not have the opportunity to guide you. I guide 95% of all trips and pride myself and 3C Guiding groups have a good time.
So I will ask again I want to make this right with you what can I do to correct it? Give me a call and we can talk about this more 307-690-9391
Thanks Cameron

Well, this just got more exciting. Ezra has an extremely good rep on this site. The WWW is an amazing tool --- Word of mouth travels fast. Hope you guys can work it out.

Like I said on the phone My biggest concern Was that the next guys did not get the same deal You assured me you were going to talk to him and make sure the training was .right And I'm sure you will

Forum people refrain from dictating the outcome or what Cameron from C3 should or should not do or receive as punishment. I do not know C3 have never rode or talked with him. I am saying this from a business standpoint. Not all experiences are perfect with all customers and this can be a result of behavior from either the client or business representative. Not sure who is at fault nor do I care but before jumping to conclusions or creating or own punishments lets see how C3 handles this. Sometimes a mistake or dissatisfied customer can be the break out point for these business as we get an opportunity to see how they react to customers dissatisfaction and how they work to correct the issue. We may all see how willing C3 is to satisfy customer and all take a different appreciation of the situation. It is easy in business when all customers are happy happy happy, a business is defined when 1 in 100 are not happy.

its 3c's guiding guys, not c3 just to be clear. And now the best thing you can do is set up a trip with Cameron to go ride cause like I stated earlier in this post him and his brother are 2 of the most experienced riders on the Mountain, whether at Tog or Snowies they know their way around, Its too bad about your experience with Logan. But let Cameron take you for a couple, three day ride and you'll have a ride to remember out west.

yep I get it . but as a business owner in the service industry I will and would never send a rooky to a customers home with out at least a yr as a shadow .
your weakest employee dealing with the public is will always be what u are remembered for in any business.

I agree Ezra sounds like a bad business move, My point is that if any one can have ill feelings, or can voice what there actions should be to rectify the situation it is you. Social media and people can get carried away and that is not fair for C3 especially since snowmobiling is close nit group and the forums are viewed by a lot of people. That's why I say let C3 fix there mistake learn from it and get better. It sounds as though a couple of those guys can ride and many people can attest to there great service, however as you said it was a bad business move. I too am guilty of the same pour decision when put into a pinch and have had to pay for it on the other end ultimately it is how that customer feels at the end that should dictate the business. As a general construction contractor there is a lot of time between start and finish of a project, customers feelings towards me may be a bit of a roller coaster ride till the end. However it is all of the little issues and problems which at the moment for a customer may feel extreme ultimately have helped my company to rise to the top and create such a good name. I take care of my customer. Unfortunately for some of these people to realize it things may need to go unplanned, or even be disappointing at times.

I agree with u wisedoo I am over it. cameron wants to make it right by taking our crew out when we go back. My biggest concern was not the cash not the wasted day but that this kid gets training and learns the area so no other guys have to deal with this again.
sound like that was going to happen .

not sure, but some where in the snowies

- - - Updated - - -

medicine bow nat forest is the snowies .if staying on the west side of the forest ie ryan park side I highly recommend going to the Saratoga hot springs after a hard day of riding . they have a real nice set up showers locker rooms open 24 7 free and 118 deg sand bottom pools. the better climbing and way way less traffic can be found in the madre range more or less next range west if staying on the western side of med bow deff worth a 30 min trailer over for a Saturday.

I also recommend hitting the Hobo pool (hot springs) in Saratoga. We will be back out there in mid March and that is definitely in the plans for us too! Only issue, no alcohol but have a few sodas before you get there.

I also agree with Ezra, the West side is great and way less busy. Seems like everyone stays on the East side so worth the extra 2 hour drive to stay on the west side.

Enjoy, looks like they just got some decent snow!
