Bridge cam is back up on pasty cam. Clicked on it this morning, I can't believe how many tracks are on the ice. And the number of tracks coming from under the bridge, sorry to say no prayers from me if someone goes in. My prayers will go to the poor people that have to go in after them, genetic thinning is all I can say to the rider.

Ice by the bridge is never safe especially under the bridge with the road salt and moving water. As for legal? I am not sure but if I remember right it is not??

I have only been up der by sled one x. We approached from the south & the trail went across the channel, south of the bridge. U r saying cross the bridge only & avoid even the channel crossings, which appear to be part of the trail?

It's bad enough that someone has to go and run under the bridge or up the canal. It's when someone who doesn't know any better and follows those tracks, that's when problems begin. Those are the ones I feel sorry for, not the idiots.

In this part of the world, all ice is temporary. If you go on the ice, lets hope the temporary holds until you get off.

Stay on the beaten path between Houghton Beach and the Ramada and keep it moving and you will be fine. Yes it is legal to ride frozen water.

It's when other people have to put their lives in danger to rescue someone doing their own thing. That's the problem.
