Been running Bergstroms since 04, bought a new set for the winder this past summer thinking I was ready at 5,000 miles...nope left them on. I'll get another season at least out of them.

Whitedust can’t help with question but the woody’s navigator thing for the ski looks cool might look into them also.

I run woodys dual side by side 4 inches on my 137 CAT with 1.75 lugs....thats what you should run IMO....I tried em all...think physics...longer carbides push in turns....shorter bite better....I run no pics...not needed at all...the computer designed the lug configuration for optimum take off and stopping...mine is a 2016 800

I've had 6" Bergstrom Triple Points on 3 Yamaha-dogs, & 4 Polaris's over the last 15 years, and haven't had to replace any of them yet.
Full disclosure...I'm not a high mile rider, and don't ride crap conditions (like now) either.

Yep stud boy deuce bars perform well too.....Generally 1 Aggressives Snow Trackers 2 Bergstrom Triple Points 3 Stud Boy Deuce Bars. I’m on Doo TS skis now so thinking about trying woodys navigators and moving up to OEM 7 inchers. That’s if I ever get a chance to ride goodish conditions. I won’t upgrade in fair conditions just not fair trial or money well spent. Anybody have opinion on TS skis with Navigators 7” carbides on enduro 900t?
I've had the navigators and 7 inch on all my 1200s and 900t with Pilot TS. Navigators help with ski wear and darting. LOTS of miles with great results

Great thread! The overwhelming support and evidence of "Bergstrom" has me wanting to swap my new Woodys, just to give em a try.....
HOLY MILES people are reporting! And my buddy has issues with darting... gonna let him know..... I'd be through 3 engine rebuilds before swapping carbides at the rate people are getting out of the Bergstroms... Thanks for the tip.

I now consider carbides no different than oil. Fleet Farm has 6" carbides for $60 bucks. I'm done with $230 (after shipping) 6' triples from Bergstrom. They were good, not that good.

I can understand your point, it all is in what you need and want. I used to run regular carbides but hated the handling issues switched to the triple points and fixed the problem. I will say I have a old set of skis with warn carbides that I will put on in early season if conditions are not the best.

Been using triple points for atleast 8 years. Have never wore out a set. Just ordered my 3rd set because one got bent from a rock. So 600 bucks over 8 years for no darting and firm grip in the twisty's. Worth it to me. If you are having trouble getting through to Scott Bergstrom just go to ebay. There is a guy out east that has all kinds of stock.

Yeah good point. I did call them and they are running 4 weeks out right now. I may see if I can stretch the stock ones for a bit.

Looks like shaper bars are commonly recommended. Looks like those are around $90.

Who that escalated quickly before Christmas only week and a half. You would think the wasn't any snow or something.

Ive used the bergstrom good and uglies for the better part of a decade. With there ski saver and shim kit I have gotten several thousand miles out of a set and I ride alot of crap snow in Iowa. I have a new set of 8" about to go on the new sled. I haven't been able to get myself to pull the trigger on a set of triple points yet. I know they last a long time but if you smoke a rock and break them it doesn't matter. The good and uglies aren't exactly cheap anymore either. I think they were 170 to my door.

Been very happy with Bergstrom triple points. Ride all kinds of trails including junk in Iowa. 5000 on current 6in. set. 1/4 to 1/2 worn and don't catch railroad tracks and rocks like others.
