CDC Wants to Shut Down MI AGAIN?!

If it’s possible all J&J vaccine should be diverted to MI. I know there is a J&J shortage but what’s out there should go to MI for one and done. I believe MI would have done better against the variant had the original virus run it course so people had antibodies to fight off the variant. No easy answers looks like a difficult 90 days and try to vaccinate out of the new spread. Just can’t avoid an airborn virus and live a normal life. Strange Whitmer is not shutting MI down following CDC advise and what the UK did.

What say you about TX ? According to everything they have been feeding us TX should be exploding in cases . Yet they are not at all

The thing virtually no one understands is this "vaccine" is not even COVID specific...it's not even a "vaccine" in the truest sense of the word...it's an experimental genetic modification of how each person's body handles certain proteins and is attempting, with limited success, to train or re-train a person's body how to deal with invaders...i.e. the COVID virus

As Abe would say....spot on! <img src="images/smilies/eagerness.png" alt="" title="Eagerness" smilieid="76" class="inlineimg" border="0">

x2 buddah. Experimental genetic modification... Pair that with a posssible mandate to disclose personal medical information with a government issued "passport".

Yes she's bad news no doubt. Having high school kids wear masks during sporting events? My daughter plays high school basketball and one of her teammates has asthma. She comes off the court literally crying trying to gasp for air. Another teammate in perfectly good health now needs a asthma pump which she never ever needed before! She cares not about people, but only about here agenda. It's really sad to see young people going through weekly testing to play high school sports. She will have a lot to answer for. She is power hungry and that's the last thing you need in politics. It's just sad and disappointing.

Has anyone noticed that the only states reporting a covid crisis and promoting lock downs have democratic governors? I haven't drank their kool-aid and don't intend to. Fuaci is a sword fighting idiot.

why aren't they saying what percentage of new cases are with people who have already been vaccinated? you have to be a complete idiot or just oblivious to not think we would be dealing with different "variants" we have done it with the common flu (that no longer exists) for years, vaccinations based on "best guess" as to what variant we will be dealing with. They were right on it when cases fell so rapidly that the vaccine works and walla just as fast we now have all of these variants, these drug companies were confident they would be effective against the new variants so where are the stats that say how many of these new cases are people who have been vaccinated? I have 2 family numbers one who was hospitalized with covid and ended up having blood clots in her lungs as a result of, after being vaccinated. Yes I know the vaccine is only what? 70% effective but where are the numbers? WE CANNOT SHUT DOWN AGAIN!!!

What Kool-Aid have you been drinking. Here are the numbers.

"Based on evidence from clinical trials, the Moderna vaccine was 94.1% effective at preventing laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 illness in people who received two doses who had no evidence of being previously infected."

"The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is 95% effective in preventing the COVID-19 virus with symptoms."

Now you know the rest of the story.

One more thing. New research shows the vaccines may be performing even better than expected so quit spreading lies.

You may want to continue reading.

CDC study says Pfizer/Moderna are 90% in real world.
https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7013e3.htm?s_cid=mm7013e3_w

J&J is 72% (right in line with euphoric1's statement):
https://www.yalemedicine.org/news/covid-19-vaccine-comparison

Or J&J is "The vaccine was 72% protective in the United States, 66% protective in South America, and 57% protective in South Africa."
https://www.statnews.com/2021/02/02...eloped-by-pfizer-moderna-and-johnson-johnson/

Guess it depends on what you read. As for spreading lies, well, seems many are pretty good at that these days.

Also, the J and J vaccine testing was done during the busier outbreak times, and the other 2 were done in the "slower" months.

The vaccine is unproven and many have died from it already. I'll take my chances by putting my faith in the big guy upstairs and continue to not live in fear. To each their own. If people want it then more power to them but for those that don't they deserve the same appreciation and respect. Last time I checked we live in the land of the free!

I do not wear a mask at work:) I don't wear a mask anywhere unless I go to one of my kid's sporting events within the school. I'm just a outlaw by today's standards!

Well said Kip! This is the statement to live by! We all are a year plus "in" on this craziness, how long is it going to last? How many more freedoms are going to be removed?
People need to be concerned about themselves and not what the "other guy" is doing! You want to get the vaccine?...great...go get it! For those of us who don't, that is our right & our business!
My employer requires the mask, luckily for me I am not around other people 95% of the time so I do not have to wear it all day. I choose not to wear it anywhere else. If a place of business I visit requires one, I do my best to avoid giving those places my business!

I can call it what I want just like you can. This is the problem right there! You cannot tell people how to think and how to feel. My opinions are mine just like yours are yours Midwest. Yes, I can say that and I will continue to say that no matter how others think or feel. You or anyone else cannot tell me what to say, what to do, or what to feel man.

Furthermore, it's pretty odd how many people feel the same way I do yet it's never spoken about on a National level. Pretty sad state we're in right now in more ways than one:(

We have a trailer dealership here, that does not require masks to shop. The sign on their door says "we accept you as you are". Only 3 or so of their employees wearing masks. Less than half of customers. I wish more businesses had the balls to conduct business as they see fit. Its been this way there since the beginning of this BS.
