chain case

hi i have a 2001 tripple touring 600 that i am parting out and my uncle has a 2001 zr 500 and he want to buy the chain case with reverse but what he is wondering is will it bolt on and work.

yes they will fit, i looked up the part numbers for the chaincase on the triple touring, then looked up the part numbers for the optional chaincase w/reverse for the zr and the part #'s match.

it will have a diff gear ratio but otherwise the same
