Cleaning clutches

I use brake cleaner on the sheave faces. Are guys putting fully assembled clutches in the dish washer to wash them, or are they dissassembling them first?

Dishwasher and scotch brite once completely dry.

Just get ready to explain to the little lady of the house what all the black crap is all over inside the dishwasher !
