I just looked at the web cam for Ash River in MN and the thermometer was a little below -40

-27 and sunny up at Lake of the Woods this morning. Was a good day for a free-air ride on the Rainy River. Only two tracks on the river trail since the dusting of snow on Monday, probably those crazy ice fishermen.

Is that your dog? Wirehair or Griff? My brother ran wirehairs for years. We use to hunt in the Dakotas between new years and Christmas. He would build up snow boogers on his beard inches long that we would have to work off. Love the look of the ugly dogs!
