Has anyone had any problems with their Coldwave bibs? I have some that are only 2 years old and they are falling apart. A buddy of mine has the exact same style as I do and his are falling apart in the same way. The inner seam on the leg fell apart.

Buy klim or Motorfist, last pr. You will need to buy. Unless major weight change. You got what you paid for. Been there too.

bibs

Me and my wife both had coldwave bibs that both the crotch ripped out after 3 seasons. Both after being stored for the winter, talked to a rep that claimed they did'nt have any complaints. We bought new ones at the snow mobile show so hope these hold up this time. This is my 2nd season with this set so we'llsee what happens. The old ones were from 5 seasons ago.

YES, YES AND YES!!!!
This is so timely,....we were straightening up the sled stuff getting ready for a trip and my wife showed me the coldwave bibs that did that very same thing,....they are my HS age daughters and were worn less than 10 times and they ARE JUNK!!!!!!!!

seams are torn open all the way to the knees....bought at the HIGHLANDS booth at the milw snoshow a few years back.

Puzzling though, because we have a COLDWAVE LEATHER JACKET thats over 10 years old and IS AWESOME!,....NO PROBLEMS......

let me guess where the 10 and 12 yr old cold wave stuff is made and where the new crap made.

bibs

ours were also bought at the milwaukee show , guessing about 5 or 6 years ago. The jackets are fine but both sets of bibs only lasted 3 seasons and split after sitting stored for the winter. Like I said we bought new ones because we like cold wave but talked to the rep that was at the show. He claims they had'nt had any claims like our but yes you do get a problem once in awhile. Makes you wonder if they had a bad bunch around this time.

I have a pair that are about 6 yrs old now, and still as good as the day I bought 'em. I love 'em and they cost far less than the big names, and just as warm and dry. I do not machine wash them, but instead wipe 'em down good once in a while, and always hang 'em up. Maybe you guys got into a bad batch. And you guys are supposed to wear 'em in the winter, not store 'em.......just rippin on ya. LOL

Me too

Same thing here my wifes coldwave bibs came apart at the seam in the crotch after just one season maybe 5 or 6 years ago. Got by with them by paying to have them repaired a couple of times but they just kept ripping out at the crotch.

So I gave up and bought her a new pair last season. They are coldwave also but cost more and heavyer material. Still just china crap Im sure.

You know I thought it was all the cheesburgers onion rings and beer I was feeding her up in the U.P.

I guess I was wrong :D

Isn't coldwave a big name?

I wore my first Coldwave Bibs for about 10 years with no problems. Theu MUST have shrunk over the years so that's why I replaced them. It seems that there is a common theme here....the newer ones are failing!!

Bought mine at the Milwaukee show in 1995 or 1996 and still use them. I did split the crotch a wee bit, but that was my fault. Had the lady at the dry cleaners sew them up and will use them again this year, good Lord willing!
