Hope this thing happens... I have a new sled to pick up in the Keweenaw and I decided to wait a bit to see if they get ridable snow so I can get the engine broken in before heading west in the first week or so of december.

Next weekend is a long ways away, I know it is supposed to be in the 60's around here in Chicago Sunday and Monday before cooling off to the 30's by Thanksgiving. The ground still needs to freeze up in the Keweenaw...... I have been tempted a couple times in the past to ride over thanksgiving weekend but there is this wise weather guy up there that always convinces me to wait :) Smart choice!

If we have enough snow to put around the yard that is fine, otherwise I need next weekend to finish my mods and other sled work before the season starts!

Stack
...........I think the ground is frozen enough, There has been about 3 or 4 inches here in the Western UP for about a week. The tv stations know snow is big ratings so i think they make more out of it. Last year the Chicago area had 2 storms that the stations said big snow, only John nailed it saying around 4 inches would fall not the up to 14 inches the local news said.

Keweenaw ground = rock.

Rock is already a frozen (solid) material, bring on the snow.

Snow on Thanksgiving!

I just want enough snow to pull the kids around on the Toboggan behind the sled or the four wheeler. We have a bunch of family coming to our place and it will just make it so much more fun, and get us into the Christmas spirit if the we have some snow on the ground. Think Snow! Over LD

Pulling the Harley out today for one more ride. Supposed to hit 60 here south of Chicago. Hopefully it starts snowing in the yoop pretty darn quick. Was hoping to get a ride in early December.

Andy, I was thinking the same I converted my bike over to a solo, since wife has her own bike, she can haul passengers.
