One of my favorite shows starts tonight. Season 10 already, it's hard to believe. Looking forward to the season!
Who said there was something wrong?I'm not sure what's wrong with more of the same, there's a reason it's been around for 10 seasons! I love the show just the way it is.
If anything like a tuna cannery in Puerto Rico I had the pleasure of viewing you would never eat the stuff.lol Tough environment to work in for man & equipment.Once again I'm with Ezra on this one. I have spent a little time at sea. I was offered stupid money to work oil rigs in the Persian Gulf and Crab Boats in Alaska. If you sit down and do the math,it's not worth it. A lot of the guys you work with are qualified ,but can't get a real job, because of their rap sheet or addictions . Let's not go and show the employes of the canneries and process plants that these boats unload at? Well, that's another subject. Those people make about 6 bucks an hour,at best. The husband is processing the fish, while the wife is on the dock turning tricks,so they can provide for their kids. Ya,it's sad chit when it's told with out the Hollywood filter!
they show none of the real stuff I remember spending my summers on the old mans gill net boat in the bearing sea.
no stops to unload in international waters to the Japanese canning ships for cash. all the pills and snow on the docks u dont stay awake for days on your own no matter what bs they are feeding u on tv.
none of the hookers running around the cannery's. the overindulging at the closest bar to the dock
if they started showing real dock life I would prob watch again
id like to hear more stories on this hookers at the cannery subject
Perhaps this would be a good opportunity to use private messaging. I would like to keep the PG rating of the board.

I like the show the way it is. I could care less about skanks/hookers at the canneries, or morons doing drugs.
