What deals can you find at snow shows? I have bought some cheap clothes and a belt there before. Just wondering what else is worth buying there.

Just something to talk about in July.

Every year I say, "I don't need anything, but will tag along". 3 to4 trips out to the truck later with both arms full????? they get me everytime with the deals. I hit the booth with all the military and confiscated stuff. I buy leathermans in bulk from the guy, they are what the airports confiscate and this guy gets them and sells them for a fraction of the price new. Certain booths are always a "must" stop. Togwotee booth, Lava Mtn. booth, Wawa and related type booths, Beer island, Dobsons booth, Polaris (of course), Shadetree, Girls selling t-shirts, Amsoil booth, read the stickers in sticker booth, Klim booths, kinda laugh and point at Cat booth and pass by rapidly. The deals vary year to year. Most consistent deal would be..... left over DVD's in bulk purchases. A favorite booth is the "True Adventure Gear" booth and they did not make Novi last year. It is also fun watching folks treat the the "Jerky stand" as an all you can eat samples and feed the family stand.

The Best deal to me is hooking up with friends with related interest, from around the state, that I see only a couple times a year, having a beer, and catching up on what's new all the while people watching.

I've been to Novi, Green Bay and Milwaukee shows. I like the Ken's sports booth the most. Seems like they almost give away Polaris and Arctic cat gear. The Team Hard booth gets some money every year and I like to hit different booths to plan my next adventure. May hit up the Neo booth and leave with a trailer this year :0

Been wondering the same thing about the NEO booth. Think the deals are any better than the "Limited" edition John's Trailers in IN sells? Seems like they are at least $1,500 cheaper than anyone else already.

I think the NEO booth is John's trailer sales in IN. Not sure how anyone can beat the deal. The show in Novi usually has a couple and if you buy the floor model they chop a couple hundred bucks off the already low price. I got there early Sat last year and all the floor models where already spoken for with a deposit.

Thanks for the info. Getting excited to go already.

Anyone selling tracks at good deals there? That's probably the one I think I actually need. Probably hard to beat pricing from tracksusa or ken's sports anyway.

Have to check out each booth but can find deals on non current brand software not so much on KLIM & so many KLIM dealers & users out there now pricing is tightly controlled just like Bose speakers.Only difference is there are Bose only stores now.

Gotta love the combo of beer and good deals on sled gear.

Very true about the klim gear. Those deals don't exist anymore. or are few and far between. top quality top price just like Carharts.

I have found non-current Klim gear at Hayday's for half price or a little less.

Hope they are not "Chinese knock offs". Counterfitters are pretty good with copying anything of value. Best I have found ever is 40% off and I am Klim neck to toe. (no Klim helmet). The Klim deals are gone at Novi since all booths seem to sell it at a fixed price. The Klim folks also have a booth there (suspect it is to watch and regulate their dealers). But you have to admit Klim wear does work well.

I bought some bibs one year and a jacket the next year at the same booth and when I bought the jacket the guy who helped me with it actually worked for Klim, not the dealer and said that they regulate the current items but it was up to the dealer on the carry-overs, he also said if he were in my shoes he would buy the 1/2 price ones.

There you go. none of my Klim is was purchased as current. Heck I am Dutch, no retail here! But noticed the deals were just not there at Novi on Klim as in the past.
