The plating was extremely porous looked like a pizza. When they acid dipped the cylinder none of the machined surfaces were masked and left them rough to the point that the kips actuator mechanisms would bind. The head and base surfaces had been nicked up.I still believe that the cylinder they sent back was an exchange and not the same one I had sent.I say this because my cylinder had some very minor port clean up done and the piece that was returned did not.Could have been from the etching process I do not know without comparing the before and after parts. Many friends in the riding community have experienced similar

Wanna hear my bad....i drove to baraga plains loop trail head took a picture then loaded back up cause i forgot my freekin kick start layin on the garage shelf(took it off to fix saturday). So i drove back home put kick start on and rode to p trail and back up power line and other areas, made the best of it and had a great ride. O its muddy out big time.

Way to funny! I am sitting here talking to my bud and it seems as though they were in the parking lot and exchanged words with you! They were gonna invite you to ride with!

Just talked to a buddy of mine who retired a few months ago. He put on 3500 miles on his FJR in three weeks. He still needs to get back from out west,so the miles will probably double that. I can't wait until I retire. I can see myself getting lost for a month or two. I'm thinking a big fat BMW enduro. One can only dream........
