I'm only seeing one avatar so far.

Of you want to use an avatar, have you tried this?<br>In the menu at the top of this page, click on: Settings.<br>On the resulting page, in the left column find: Edit Avatar<br>Click on: Edit Avatar.<br>Try the various options shown there.<br>(It would help if the currently impaired state of this forum allowed me to post pictures, but fuggeddabout that until we have a fix. -- I can't even write in paragraphs or numbered lists now so good luck reading this!)<br>

It appears the avatar shows up when not logged in, but when you log in it doesn't show your avatar John.

John, any updates on a potential cause of the character problem that has been plaguing the board lately?<br><br>I ran a little test today after cleaning things up on my end, thinking maybe cookies/temporary files might be the issue.&nbsp; I did not see any change so I'm thinking that there is some kind of problem with the post character interpretation when it is formatted for publishing, but then I'm not much of an IT guy.<br><br>Thanks!

I have been watching this thread for awhile and it seems to affect certain people but not everyone? I have looked at my replies and don't see any of these avatars that you you see on others replies. I use an MacBook so it would be interesting to know if it is just applicable to certain computers and could be a Mcafee/others?/security issue? Or maybe I just can't see them on my own replies?

Still trying periodically to upload a custom .jpg file for an avatar...cut it down to same size as yours but still get "Upload of file failed" or some such every single time... ????
