I have done this with all my sleds. I cut a stock clear windshield to a lower profile type one that i like. Clean i then spray black laquer paint to the underside in small even layers. I let each layer dry a little then spary again. Then i replace the moulded trim. Pictures are in the wrong order. Looking forward to the snow!

Where you going to put that michigan sticker now? I hope not back on that nice windshield. I have the same sled and place mine just below the windshield on that rough piece between the hood and shield.

Nice work on the shield.

Thanks guys, i wil find a spot on the hood somewhere for the sticker. And the wife likes taking pictures so maybe a few through the yard........ I said in the other thread that the guys at work feel this could be one of those years as far as a real winter.

Dremmel tool with an abrasive cutting wheel. . I make a line with a marker across the shield making sure it's even. With the shield on a table i measure up say like 9 inches from the table up to the edge, mark a spot on the left, then the right. I used a 4 1/2 inch hand held grinder before too.
