whats yours get for gas mileage i'm averaging 8-10 mpg and i got 205 main jets in right now. does your have the keihn d-slide carbs?

i'm gettin around 8 mpg. i do have the keihin d-slide carbs and i got the stock jets which i believe is 185 pto side and 190 mag side i forgot about your dual pipes so i shoulda known you rejetted. about how rich is yours running? i suggest you put a bigger jet in the mag side, there's a reason they went to it in 99 due to a few 98s blowing up. but that's your decision not mine.

Are yours sluggish on low to mid range if so have you seen the power packs that slp makes. They are two metal fins that go in the motor side of the carb they help with the throttle response and made light and day difference on my sled.

I've got 6500 miles with the pipes so far and haven't had a problem yet plugs are always nice and gold unless i let it idle the twins don't like to idle on my sled it tends to foul plugs. I've rejetted a couple of times because i also added cheater heads, slp intake, delta reed force 3 reeds, and slp power packs

mine's not sluggish at all, yet i only rode it about 450 miles before the stud went thru. So i guess i can't give you a really good response. and 120 of those i let my sister ride actually because She couldn't handle the 3 in. riser on my 500. I wanna keep this sled a while since Every sled i get i wanna do stuff to so it costs a lot to start over. I'm thinking if my suspension makes it thru this next year, i'm prolly gonna put an edge suspension in it. no extensions since i got the new track. Then hopefully a clutch kit or at least new clutch spring. and re-gearing and possibly slp can. I don't need to go too crazy with performance accessories since i don't need to power that bad since the only time i work it super hard is off-trailin and my off-trailin is just dinkin around in some ditches. The trail riding i do is with sleds that are under 80 hp.

Just take a guess :D (i've been keeping this on the DL :) )

Let me guess...picture of Polaris engineering at it's finest? Your missing something off the over flow tanks (threads ready for a bolting of something...or just another "dual application" part by Polaris)?

Before picture of what won't be pretty early into next season?

Last photo before you go buy a REAL sled made by Artycat??

My 99' XC600SP came with a primer from the factory also.

Seemed to start better with a quick hit from the primer along with the choke.
