Theres nothing wrong with that. I won't even have one beer socially if I'm going to be driving anything.
Way back on the day I was in a local band and we accepted one shot of whiskey to encore Whiskey In The Jar. One hour later I was getting pulled over because I blew a big fuse that knocked out my tail lights. The officer knew I wasn't drunk but I was very nervous and when I told him that I never drink and drive he kindly informed me how false that statement was now.
And now I could never be under the influence and put myself in a situation where there is any doubt, for my employment and for my two children.
It's really not that big of a deal to be sober.
Right now, at this moment, I am enjoying a good part of a six pack of Bells Amber and had two shots of Hunters whiskey.
Next, you'd probably ask what if one of my kids had a medical emergency since I won't drive right now. I have a plan in place. Besides neighbors the ambulance service is just down the road from me, maybe 1000 yards away.
It sounds funny that I "have a plan in place" but that's the dealio.
