Let's find out what's on the snow this year from the John Dee members. Click on the manufacturer that you'll be riding this winter and check back for results.

Always a fun question to ask.

Will spend some ride time on the Deere but will probably put the most miles on the 79 TX's. Oh, and maybe a few miles on the Switchback.

I surprised even myself a couple of weeks ago when I traded off my 1200 for a 900 Ace in the Blizzard package. A couple of reasons for down-sizing but mostly my TNT was an 09 and I wanted a better ride with a quieter clutch. The Adjustable Carbides and Ice Ripper track were also selling points for me.

I dropped about 35 horsepower in making the change and I'm OK with that as I'm not into 3 digit mph anymore. I'm totally sold on the 4 stroke engines, plenty of low-end torque and the ACE sounds like your mother's sewing machine when it idles. (And this coming from a guy who once put a straight pipe on his Dad's lawnmower...) You bet he gave me the stink eye for that one.

Quite a bit has changed in the last 8 years and I'm anxious for some seat-time on the new Doo to see for myself.

For whatever you ride, have a safe season and Think Snow always!

Looks like the color on the poll is right for the only brand that matters! :unconscious: It really doesn't matter what you ride, just get out and ride what you got.

So you went boring, slow and 4 stroke all in one purchase....congrats.

Too bad you don't understand Yamaha's purpose when they introduced the first high performance 4 stroke sleds of the new century.....Congrats Ski-Doo you have taken the term "high performance 4 stroke" back 3 decades to the old Frontier!......LMAO!

What he understands is he didn’t feel like riding a forklift thru the woods.

Gary,

I did the same thing. No regrets. You will love that sled. Responsive, quiet and fast enough. It's more responsive then my 600 etec..... not quite as fast on the top end but who cares. Great mileage and a Rocket in the twisty s. No one has to wait for me unless it's trail 3....

Look forward to your assessment.

Hmmm, having a bad day Ezra or just cyber bullying? My attempt at a little fun was definitely on a higher trail than yours.

Again, ride what you got people.
