Batteries may not even be the answer it could be a breakthrough in electric motor design. When brushless motors showed up run times doubled.

No but I have spent the better part of 2 decades working almost solely on electric forklifts so I know first hand what electric motors and batteries are capable of. Plus that gos back to the fact that semi's have no issues hauling large amounts of batteries around.

They have cargo cubic space capacity, and cargo weight capacity, the same as the trucks we know now!!!
