Epic Winter for Sledding/ winter sports

It is clear now that this winter will go down in the books as one of the best for sledding with snow deep and widespread.

Was just wondering from those who count on winter income from tourists who spend in the north country, how it has measured up compared to years where ONLY the north has decent sledding? Revenues up, down, or about the same?

I know the economy has improved over recent years but still looking for an "about" on this question???

You know what they say . . . . Look East young man.

Heck here in good 'ole MI every sq inch measures at least a foot of snow.

But the COLD has keep many close to home no matter what the winter outdoor sport. Just a guess.

From the business owners I have talked to, most say that the week days have been a little slower, but weekends still very good. Most (not all) say with the business they had in December this year vs. last, that they are ahead of last year so far. Again, this is not a blanket statement for all businesses up here.

Nice to see so many areas having snow to play in. Hope it can be good for all the industries that depend on it.
