Please get the wind to stay away. We are heading up this weekend with the guys and next weekend with the family, my little guy really wants to see the colors...

I think were gonna peak in the next 3-6 days, may loose lots of leaves if we get the wins they're calling for tomorrow. I am heading down to Baraga tomorrow and will snap a few pics.

I may be off a bit on the peak, probably another week or more still. Some spots are vivid but general landscape it's not as far along as I thought.

Wow, Beautiful pics!!

Still a lot more green near Houghton. The winds shouldn't wreak too much havoc here.

Thanks about the pics you guys! :) We were in Houghton Tuesday and I was surprised how much more green you guys still had left.

The winds sure have picked up here too and it's raining cats n dogs!! Sorry guys but in this area I think what color we had is going to be gone and we sure had some color! Heck the maple tree by the Love Shack is almost empty and yesterday there was nearly a leaf on the ground!

Buuuut that means Winter's coming :)

Plenty of color here in Phelps & green too. The wind took out the power all night but our leaves were still hard on the trees since little severe freeze in Sept just a lot of clouds & rain showers. Now nice color on the ground & super color in the trees. Looks like another week or 2 maybe 3 before full drop but probably near peak now for Cranberry fest.:)

In the "Photo from space", I wonder what's with the distinctive blue color of the narrow arm of Lake Superior on the Canadian side, just northeast of Thunder Bay? That couldn't be ice already, could it?

Color progression is rather strange here. Around LG the color is nearly done and most of the leaves are off the trees. Rode from LG to Twin Lakes today and rode through areas that had about 1/3 the trees are bare and the rest are pale green. Other areas are near peak...

I will post pictures when I get back.

The wife, daughter, and I headed up to Copper Harbor on 9/30 and I would say also that through northern Wisconsin to Crystal Falls and a little farther north they were at peak. Up in the Keweenaw I think this weekend or so should be near peek. Still some green left but great time overall.
