So if they can ride on snowmobile trails, that means its fair game for us sledders to ride the Birkie trail!

what ya do is this...call up attakman cause he wants ta see if they friendly over dare....then you go into the BLACK RIVER FOREST sanctioned trail...start at the head which has 3 different signs at the entrance....sleds....bikes.....and atvs...each one going on a different trail....mix it up a bit in there and then head for the trails that incorporate the roads.....and when the signage runs out and you don't know which way to go....fudge it....see how helpful they be

THIS!!! And if I encounter a fat biker on a snowmobile trail, riding right down the middle, he will get sprayed with snow as I go by. He's being antagonistic on purpose, so he gets the snow spray, ON PURPOSE.

easy man...easy....I have encountered an 84 year old dude out by himself and after we stopped it was very evident he couldn't hear a thing with a helmet on....its like giving the finger to someone in the car in front and then getting around the front you realize its a 90 year old lady looks like your grand mother and ya feel about 3 inches tall then.....ya don't wanna go around just roostin ever thing either

I'm sure the guy has a Go Pro or something of the sorts just waiting for someone to screw with him. The area sledders have to beat him at his own game somehow. Roosting him just gives him more firepower in a court room. You never know the connections people like this have. I like "silent sports" as well, but some of the people do get extreme about it.

I get it, I'm really not a mean spirited person, and I probably would never actually get into it with someone like that. As Chunk06 pointed out, he needs to be beaten at his own game.

As mentioned, stop in the middle of the trail, and shut off the sled, and make him go around you. Maybe a constructive conversation can take place at that point, who knows.

Reality is, these people are in the very tiny minority of a-holes that would actually not have a brain and be in the middle of a snowmobile trail.

Just last weekend, I passed a guy skiing, pulling a sled even with what looked like a tent and supplies. Where was he? On the very edge of the trail. Hey, no problem. Should he be out there? Maybe not, but he was being respectful and put himself in the safest place possible.

Unfortunately, the guy is probably prepared and expecting someone to do just that. He's intentionally trying to create a situation where someone takes action on his dumbazz, and no doubt he's plotting what he'll do when that happens.

well ok I take that back...since for regular people you are correct.....I usually travels so far I forget that most don't radiate as far as we do from our base camp.....that forest is aboot 60 miles south west of tomahawk so is not that far in my mind and I consider anything in a 100 mile radius as that area.....I will agree that tomahawk is way down on the list....black river forest used to be way up there though....there certainly is a lot of inconsiderate people these days on the roads, the trails, and in general so theres that....the fat tire guy though is typical in that area for some reason and adds to its height on "THE LIST".....LOL

Have fun with him. Safely pass him. Get 1/2 mile up the trail and turn around. Then stop to have a smoke break with the sleds across the trail and wait for him. When he rides up to you don't move. Don't acknowledge him. Just have your break and make him ride in the deep snow to pass you. After he passes you, do it again. Keep doing it until he is tired out. Just remember, don't acknowledge him. (You can work out all the details)

In the camp of recording his actions - a little social media can work this thing out - remember the lack of payment to Kip?

if we unite, our voices can be a powerful group. A little media clip on the local news and most people will agree this guy is an idiot and will actually hurt his cause.
