North of the bridge by Mohawk has the best riding.
I agree! and I will be posting maps to all of the best off trail riding in the area very soon.
Keep checking back!

i have rode it all, from the eastern edge of drumond island to ironwood and everything in between. I like it all. Favorite area if forced to choose would be grand marais, brimley, munising for trail riding. Off trail................................not telling.
Huh?… one can alienate oneself with maps.

.Not telling either
I am in the Greenland, Mass City and Rockland area, very good riding. Have ridden in the Keewee and equally if not better IMO. Twin Lakes awesome. Bergland great. Trail 13 loop from Greenland to Twin Lakes one of the nicest in da UP. Trail 109 off trail 3 south of Twin Lakes heading toward Alston incredibly awesome. Freeda Loop before Houghton off trail 3 is great. Flying up and down the Bill Nichols trail (3) at 375 mph is fun
I too have covered alot of ground, east to west. Kind of favor the W-UP but also like, trail 8 from paradise to Grand Marias , The trails north of Seney & the crazy 8's, the powerlines north & west of Gwinn ( the smooth ones ) we called them the "bowls" after 36" of snow fell there 1 time. It's all good. Even Big Bay area west of Marquette. This time of year i'm chasing snow depth & trail conditions which normally isn't a problem. BEST is during the week ( IMO ).
