Yeah, Right!! :)

If there's no snow south, can we all bunk up in your garage and use your "off trail" maps to get some quality riding in the next couple of weeks? We'll be good. I promise!

I like Wetmore. The Hiawatha is utterly pure awesomeness. There are some nice loops toward Seney, Grand Marais, and Marquette.

Trail 8 gets extremely beat up though come Friday night. They should just run that groomer 24 hours per day on the weekends there.

just park in ironwood load your back pack and head north then after you can go no further north head south east hit the highest point in da up and when you went east and are a day way from your truck head home .and just wing it you can always find a place to crash then you can see it all and decide what you like best.

I have rode it all, from the eastern edge of Drumond Island to Ironwood and everything in between. I like it all. Favorite area if forced to choose would be Grand Marais, Brimley, Munising for trail riding. Off trail................................not telling.

The entire west end from Ironwood to Munising and north of M-28...I gave up on the east half, just too much law enforcement and traffic combined with narrow trails and lower snow conditions.

I too have covered alot of ground, east to west. Kind of favor the W-UP but also like, trail 8 from paradise to Grand Marias , The trails north of Seney & the crazy 8's, the powerlines north & west of Gwinn ( the smooth ones ) we called them the "bowls" after 36" of snow fell there 1 time. It's all good. Even Big Bay area west of Marquette. This time of year i'm chasing snow depth & trail conditions which normally isn't a problem. BEST is during the week ( IMO ).

Love all the UP. But I think my favorite trail would be trail #5, the power line section, west of Gwinn. If you ride that after a groom its just awesome! But our favorite default location would have to be Watersmeet MI./Landolakes WI. All our favorite restaurants are there and you have the wide open trails of the UP, or the twisty trails of the WI northwoods. It just feels like home to us. We love the Cisco Chain.

I have 12 yrs of ridin da u/p and about 10,000 mi up there .And I could not agree more !!!!In fact I have over 2,000 mi this yr. and my lovely bride of37 yrs ,if I can get the time off from work I can go play anoyher 4/5 days in March (6/10 or11 maybe 14th if Im a good boy )Man do I LOVE that gal!!!!! JD please put the snow machine into overdrive....MEATHEAD

I love riding on trail and off trail in Alger, Delta and Schoolcraft counties for the snow. However, right now there's more snow in my yard here in southeastern Wisconsin vs my cabin in the Munising/Wetmore area. Oh...and my sleds are at the cabin.
