Favorite pranks on your snowmobile buddies

This happened on one trip. I just bought a sled that had remote start ('05 Arctic Cat T660 Turbo Touring), one of the guys went out to check out his sled and but oil it. He was right next to my machine and when he was bent over puring the oil I started the sled. He jumped and poured oil all over his engine.

Also, during the same trip another guy was talked about how he bought a Gold Wing and decked it out with lights. He thought it would be cool to have the license plate read "DU C ME" but I came out DUCME. So, while he was sleep, a few of us took duct tape and cut out DUCME and stuck it to his taillight lense. He wasn't to happy with us.

My personal fave is to toss a lit set of firecracers under the feet of a buddy that’s having a hard time getting his sled started but it only works if you get the timeing right.

Also love the kill switch game!

I can't believe no one has used the gas shut off trick yet. We tried it one time leaving Foggys, didn't shut off till he went to cross 28 (bad idea). So we did it again in the morning before leaving the cabin. Also got one prankster who will get you whenever he can, paybacks, he got the hot water shut off on him. End of pranks that trip.

not the greatest idea, accidentally forgot my gas was shut off on my sled, finally got it started after a while and it was only running on 1. let it sit a couple days and it ran fine again, but that scared me. this past week, i made a lock for my sled's hood to keep pranksters out :)

Thanks a lot tomxc, I just spent the last 10 minutes cleaning off my computer. I laughed so hard, you know coffee out the nose thing.

We've put super girl stickers, rainbow stickers, on trailers/trucks. Plugged our buddies tow hitch w/ a locking pin before he leaves on a trip that we're not. On guy rolled his sled and I duct taped a shipping air bag to his handle bars. And once I got pink gift wrapping paper and wrapped a buddies wheeler complete with pin wheels and a bubble machine.

We had a buddy that was on a Cat, we all had Skidoos. We parked his sled out by the rode as soon as he left to go into town for a while. We got a 4'x4' piece of plywood and a can of paint and made a sign that said for sale cheap! We put it up next to his sled. Not sure how much he liked it! We got a kick out of it. To bad someone wouldn't of stopped and asked how much it was as he was pulling in!!

We had a buddy that had pulled his recoil rope out, it broke while while riding. We fixed it that afternoon. So the next evening while at a stop for dinner, a couple of us snuck out and pulled the rope all the way out and used a zip tie to keep it from going back into the recoil. We then pulled the rope back in to make it look like it was normal. We all came out to leave and my buddy grabbed the recoil handle to start the sled, only to find the recoil was "broken". Boy was he mad, even madder when he discovered it was just a zip tie holding the rope out and we had pranked him.

these are all good. I really like throwing an extra idler wheel by someones track.
I now have the ammo for this winter season for pranks!
