Favorite section of trail

I know we probably have many favorite sections of trail, whether it be just your favorite to ride, very scenic or maybe just your long time stomping grounds, if you could pick just one, where or what would it be and why? Mine as stated before would be near the 5 and 14 intersection near Big Bay with the tall rock cut cliff, where the trail jots right down along side of it, the later in the year the better as the ice flows will fall to the ground are along side will be cobalt blue colored ice falls which gives it almost a surreal look.

I’m not a scenic rider seen all the sites soooo many times I’m more into the beauty and intimacy of the trail itself. I don’t have a fav like them all but trail 15 south to north starting at the WI border to Lanse MI is pretty darn cool trail has everything twistys, sweepers , hills , open meadows , flat straights and of course the pipeline. Difficult to beat but gets remote between IR and Sidnaw something like 50 miles of forest in that section. My kind of trail 👍

With logging, development and fires, it changes. Memorable sections were, Marquette to Gwinn (logging changed that 30 years ago). Two Heart, big fire 10 years ago cleared out the trees. Pine Stump towards GM, straight tree lined with undulating rollers. Christmas to Harvey when there is snow and drifting (same for Munising to Gwinn).

Brian, Marquette to Big Bay never disappoints.

Trail 13 north of Gogebic to Rockland is nice when it's smooth. Use to be for me from North of Gogebic to twin lakes but unfortunately the twin lakes section is closed. Pretty scenic trail. Also some twisty riding mixed in with some straights. Also enjoy forest county in Wi. Love all the tall pines out that way.

Let’s keep in touch. Our base is 3 1/2 miles from 8/7… Last year was the second year we never made it to BB. I rode solo from Mqt to BB every year from the late 70’s. Funny how back in the day the older sleds were slower with metal skis, ungroomed trails, and I still managed to slide off trail. Now bigger sleds, groomed trails, I still over drive in a couple spots….

Been riding past this rock formation for 50+ seasons...Easton Sno Seekers Club trail in central Adams county, Wi...Amazing how something like this just ends up out in the woods in the middle of nowhere...

Always like what they called the "Kimble" trail. Basically just south of Alvin, WI to Rhinelander. Awesome. I'll date myself Star Wars style and say "I could do that trail in 4 parsecks. A fun run.
