As for my favorite spot in the UP,,, Anywhere North of the Mighty Mac !!!

But I would have to say that spot (halfway up Brockway Mtn) that has
like a "wayside" where you can park and over look Copper Harbor and the
Big Lake.
Lake of the Clouds is also an awesome spot!

I'm with you on all this BigVin. That little wayside is awesome as the sun is going down during the Christmas season. Postcard perfect view.

Bayfield County is a great spot. Trail 1 going north to Port Wing and any trail going into the Chequamegon Natoinal Forest. pic going up to St Peter's Dome and wife standing on top.
