FIB - Real or Not ?

I'm originally from the East Coast and was always told that Midwesterners are nice and polite. I moved to the land of FIBs and realize that most FIBs are impatient and inconsiderate. I tell everyone I'm not a FIB but live amongst them LOL.

That's funny because I always thought people from the east coast were impatient and inconsiderate. Talking about stereotypes, not reality. Cuzz, you will always be our transplanted FIB.

FIBs mostly live in the Chicagoland area. Not all of us from the flatland are FIBs. When locals up-north ask us where we are from we always say "IL, but NOT Chicago". We know what they are like.

My data came up with the Wis- Ill thing and the driving style ( aggressiveness ) is where it came from. ( ??? )
..I think it started with the driving style of Chicago people too.....This was a topic a couple years back and there was a guy that said he was going to drive as fast as he could from Chicago to the UP and he caught h#**.

And you're probably one of the guys I'll meet going 70 miles an hour through a corner on the wrong side of the trail this winter in the UP.:D

as a 5+ year Yooper, when I get to ANY city it is hard to believe how we used to function in the madness. Green Bay, Grand Rapids MI, Duluth, Vegas, DC, Miami, you name it....a large majority of peeps drive like today is their last day on the planet.

Even if you live there and it is a part of normal life for you, take a couple minutes today and watch the cars swerving in and out of lanes, running red lights, going way over the speed limit. I bet it is more than 50% of the drivers out there. Funny thing is you usually sit next to the crazy person at the next light or traffic jam-up.

does that make you one of the ones that rides about 20 mph in a pack of 10 or more and hogs the whole trail up so nobody can pass ? or one of the ones that ride 30-40 mph and turn around to see the faster guy comming up from behind ........ and proceedes to purposely move over to BLOCK them from passing ? all you gotta do is just blink and you wont have to deal with it or me . :)

They are real! no doubt, they hang in packs called "Teams" mostly around Mass City in the winter. Most are stored in cubicles in very large structures to the south during the week. Best chance of seeing them are on weekends. They use terms such as "Awsome Pow, man". and things of that nature. They do make good friends but are skittish at first.
