Funny discussions about the phones. They are great tools as they are handheld computers, but it's funny that when you come up on a group of snowmobilers stopped on a trail, 1/2 of them seem to have their phones out. One of the top reasons I go snowmobiling is to get away. Not that I don't do the same thing at times - checking work email, voicemail, etc.

I use my "smart" phone to take pictures, check altitude, point at a mtn. and get the name of that mtn. to match to a map and gps. Also it has a built in compass. And with Google earth to boot! Never lost and in the Montana, idaho, Wyoming, Ontario bush it is a life saver sometimes even without a signal. Nothing like calling Jimmy Johns after a long day in the mountains, Freaky fast!!
For work it is a life saver, I have an app that lets me look into files at the office that are on Quickbooks Pro, again take pictures and email or text them to a customer or Contractor for aproval, etc. Order placing, etc. And just added from www.Square.com is an app and a credit card reader to get payment from even the slickest of Builder/contractors. swipe them on the site, bingo payment goes to my bank for a mere 2.7% charge. And I forgot to mention the flashlight app., level app. world news, local weather and wave reports, weather radar, Accuweather and Weather channel. and the ability to FB and JDee from anywhere! Priceless!!

LOL Half the buttons are worn off, can't type half the "symbols" with the shift button because i dont know which symbol is where (keyboard slider phone). Oh darn. Call me cheap, but then kids wonder how I can afford to drive around in my truck and buy the sleds i do, and go up north, all the while they are coming to class with monsters and a bag of chips that they just bought at the kwik trip across the street for $4. If I want a snack I bring it from home. Last time I checked it was free for me :)

I'm on T-mobile and also pay $30 (actually $91.13/3 people family plan) for my smartphone, unlimited text and calling, high speed data to 500MB/mo (it's unlimited data, it just slows down to 2g after you go through 500MB) which is more than enough for me (I use for work email, personal email, and all the other BS everyone else does), just have to buy the phone, lots on CL.

Any chance it's a Iphone 5 with blue trim around the edges? Maybe the a$$ that stole mine off the counter tossed it on the trail? If so I hope he hit tree while doing it!
