I grew up on scorpions
1st was a 1970 stinger
2nd 1974 super stinger
3rd 1979 whip and the last and most favorite sled for me was my 1981 sidewinder, wish I never would of sold that sled ran like a champ.

2 sleds come to mind. My '97 ZR 440 was a awesome trail rocket. Handled great and would run with the 600's till 80 mph. Second would be the '08 sno pro 600 cross country I bought from Jeremy at Speedwerx. Handled very close to the old ZR chasis. And would run with 700's. My '13 high country with the Speedwerx stage 2 kit install is a a handful of power now! Not so much for trail handling but I also narrowed it up with a '12 m front end. Great for Michigan backwoods!

81 Polaris Galaxy 440/ first sled I ever rode (father in laws) took it out back and around the yard, tipped it over, came back to garage and said I got to get me one of these.
Been riding ever since.
2010 Apex LTX 13,000 miles and still puts the grin on my face, every time I ride.

Have to agree with some of the above posts by saying that all of them (cats of course)have been fun over the years, but the most would be my '03 F7 that i still own,but i've got a feeling that the new Tigger will change that...

Awesome thread, love my 2012 RMK 600 but sure had a blast with my 1977 Colt 244, it would go anywhere off trail (there were not any) dependable and light weight.

For me it's a 1996 Ski-Doo 670. Love the sound and feel of those 670s!!
Also had alot of fun on a 2012 Ski-Doo 600 carb. We rented these for a few days and brought them back with 1 less belt than they started with and belt dust covering engine and panels:)

Ditto on the JD 440 '78 Trailfire. My buddies with 440 exciters would beat up on me some, but I still had a riot on it. I ended up trading it in 1995, for a case of beer. It still ran, but the rest of it was pretty in pretty rough shape. In '84 went with some friends of the family up to the Cadillac area, for my first real sled trip (always just rode around the house and in near by fields), I've been hooked ever since.

I have 3 lol 95 zr 580 it was a beast piped clutched it was a terrible trail sled but great for UN plowed roads. 2010 arctic cat sno pro 600 RR fully built and ready to rock most B,A ditch banger I've ever had. And my M8 has basically stock but it's sure a lot of fun in the woods up north. Someday I'll build it up boondocker turbo???? Maybe lol

Sled was OK fun, just that I had my funniest day on it. Day 2 of a 4 day tour, saddle bag strap came loose, bag slid behind pipe and started on fire. Burned skibbies just a few miles from Joannie's. She had fun hanging those next to the other garments at my expense of course.

I'm thinking Polaris has it on the drawing boards just waiting for me to tire of my 12 Rmk Pro. Lol.
I just would love to see sled prices going down on all Brands.

I didn't count or anything but it seems to me the only sled that shows up repeatedly is the SRX 700........coincidence? I think not........
Thats funny i was thinking the same cause i have a 98 Mountain SRX 700 I love. I havent owned a lot of sleds but my 02 ZR 800 had a typical low speed vibration deal. My 98 ZRT 600 was fun but working them triple round side carbs all day made serious throttle thumb.I had a 85 SRV that ran really well and took a lot of hard riding. But overall SRX is my favorite so far.
