Double-Post 'em with all my knowledge!
I'm NOT a forecaster,....
But I DID sleep at a Holiday Inn Express Once!
I'm using "reverse psycology"!!!!!
Today in Peshtigo, it will be 84 and Sunny, with periods of
light beer openings, coupled with an occaisonal dusting of
hot wings and remote control usage.
Maybe THAT will bring Winter?
LOL!
I've known John for a L O N G Time,.....
and NOBODY puts out the accuracy like he does.
That is one tough career to be in.
My shot at being a weather guy, came in my radio days,....
when I would "READ" the forecast.
And would make the listeners laugh when I would say something
like,.... Today, Severely Crappy weather, Tomorrow,.....much of the same.
Hang in there kids,....
We're ALL along for the ride.

I like the Weather rock in Rockland. 1. If the rock is white, it is snowing; 2. If it is wet it is raining; 3. if it is warm it is sunny; 4. if it is cold it is overcast; and 5. if the rock is swinging it is windy.

ok, ok - the everyone complains about the weather but no one does anything about it, but still....
down here in the south central UP, I have been following forecasts (JD & WC) religiously for the past 5 years, and in our area (Escanaba), practically every time a "big" storm is predicted, we either get much less snow than forecast, no snow at all, or rain - no exaggeration. Twice last year we went into the evening with 8"-14" predicted starting overnight and through the next day, only to get a few flurries all told!
Why does it always have to be wrong on the warm/less-no snow side instead of hey, we actually got MORE than what was predicted!?!?
On top of that, it has been DECADES since we got a STORM (system snow, not lake effect) that dumped over 8" down here. We've been lucky to have that much on the ground, period.
I feel better . . . .but only a little bit.

If that's the case how do you explain that six foot wall of snow down the middle of Stephenson 2 years ago?
Haha didnt even get to it we gave in and headed back only to get a call that strongs had snow when we were an hour north of lansing... we stocked up at a walmart pbr and cabo and i broke out my 580 when we got back road unplowed roads and 2 tracks in strongs.sat night was decent riding rough in some places but it blows my mind how strongs has snow but mass and other places out west dont have jack amazing how it works
