Garbage disposal question

My garbage disposal keeps jamming. I break it loose with the wrench, then run water through it and run it for about 5 mins, then the next day it jams again! Is it time to replace?

Try running a bunch of ice through it. This will help clear any debris that may be in there. If it still happens,just replace it.

Mine had a piece of metal jamming it up. I got the metal located & had smaller hands pull it out....been fine for years.

the Windings are starting to go bad on the motor time for a new one

To check for jam by metal etc. Disconnect power. Put hand down hole. Try to manually turn each individual rotating tooth assembly. Might be three spinner assemblies, can't remember. Also look with flashlight.
