Parker's grandpa is the BEST!!! What a man. I don't remember seeing the Dodge boys at all Friday night, did I miss it? I wouldn't write off the "poser beards"!

Hoffman's getting a late start as usual. Need them to keep it interesting I guess...but it looks like Tony is doing a good job at that. To see that dredge running would be awesome.

I agree on Tony, PR1. I think he will become the hit of the show, after Parker's grandpa of course.

Get your Gold Rush fix now, once $GOLD hits $300/oz. nobody is going be mining the stuff. Strong $USD is going to kill the price of gold.

I don't think gold will go below $800 / oz......& then it should bounce right up again

Could very well be. I based the $300 level off of deflationary levels and a 10 year chart of the $USD. Either way, gold bears are here for awhile. Most miners need at least $1,000/oz. to be profitable, below these levels they will close up shop due to the high amount of debt they carry. The large, highly profitable miners will scoop up these tested properties/reserves of defunct miners and buy the assets for pennies on the dollar. Just like the real estate bust a few years ago.

Is Todd really that stupid or is that just acting for big bucks? Need deeper water for pump intake? Duh! Dig a deeper hole. Idiots.

I thought that too. Five minutes with the hoe, or a whole season running another pump. I would have dug a hole. The closer pond was probably 3 acres. It wasn't like they were going to run out of water.

Exactly. Bet there is not a drop of oil in the seized motor in the excavator.

2 weeks in a row with not a second of the Dodge boys on the show. Something has to be up. Todd called Dave at the end of the show to come help. Could it be things have gone bad with the Dodge boys and Dave is coming back to Todd?

I was wondering the same thing but the Dodge boys seem to be dialed in (from what little we've seen).....I'll have to say that I'm getting tired of watching the Hoffmans struggle/fail.....I guess that's what keeps us coming back tho

I am wondering if the Dodge Boys are making enough at mining and don't want to play"actors". Watching a well oiled machine gets boring too. It's all about holding an audience and selling advertising. Tony has my interest.

I know... where are the Tree huggers???? maybe to cold for them? They had to kill off some fish? I am amazed they don't cover topics of erosion control a bit more. A while back they did have an episode with state safety inspectors, so now they have hard hats, lol. Well after all it is the last frontier. My biggest question is why are the sluce boxes so short. How much gold gets missed?

It looks like Dave may be coming back too! With the crew back, they need more equipment. They need gold now to cover all of these new expenses. I wish this show was on more than once a week!

Did I miss something? Parker moves the wash plant during the show loses 4 days, then towards the end they state they are running out of pay dirt? Amazing how much impurities come out of the gold when smelted down.

No... I thought not much happened either kinda boring this week. Drama is Dave coiming back to help Tood as full 50% partner that runs the mine. Todd will have to agree.... get it shoved up his you know what again but deserves these actions from past performances.

Dave should have insisted on 51%, 50/50 won't work, but will only lead to endless argument.
