Direct spin-off from their highway driving. No blinkers, brights on, driving in the passing lane 1/2 mile an hour faster than the guy in the right lane, talking on the cell phone etc... and on and on and on.
It must have been one of them in this (click→) video. (34 seconds to oblivion!)

WOW !!!!!! Thats tough to watch !!!!!
God rest thier souls, I'am sure the people in that SUV did'nt make it through that.

Trail etiquette has usually been pretty good in the Keewenaw until this past year or so when I've seen more of this problem of slow groups not keeping to the right and not pulling over and letting you to pass even at the intersections. I think that the lack of snow to the south has forced these riding groups, who are accustomed to bar to bar riding on much narrower trails, to come north to the UP. They are a bit of a trail hazzard, much like the slow car drivers who speed up only when there is a passing lane so that you cant get by. This is also the first year that I have noticed a greater number of trail riders not keeping to the right on curves and approaches to hills.
