Yep the Governor in Alaska is doing this. My oldest son lives up there and it's caused quite a commotion too. The Governor also cut in half this year, the money that all AK state residents get from oil "income" (not sure what to call it). The oil and coal industries are in the tank and the AK state budget is getting hit hard.

if u live in MN and are a member of a club U get MNUSA mag , in last mo issue there is a list of every MN state politician with a list of snowmobile related issue questions with there answers. worth looking at before heading to the polls and taking a few notes.
