It being early model year 900, it had the first primary clutch set up with the bad rollers and arms. I worked with Goodwin performance before Doo resolved the problems, as I put on a lot of miles faster than most riders. I got it better, but not how I really wanted it as I knew there was more there to be had. The later model 900NA's, after 2015 I believe, had the Doo revised clutching, rocker roller set up, by far more durable, and easier to tune. So I then decided to started following several different guys on Doo Talk, and Bill Cudney Racing Canada. With that, I kind of came up with my own combination to get where I wanted to be performance wise, and without giving up mpg's on long trips. I ordered a PB 80 (Powerbloc 80) clutch, and tuning tools for it from CVTech. Could have bought one cheaper perhaps on line? I went with the PB 80 calibrated for the 900NA, some went with the PB 80 calibrated for the 1200. Either works, just different springs, ratings. It's very easily tuned once you learn the concept, and so very, very durable, long life. Some guys told me I would have a heat issue, but I had no such problems whatsoever, and great belt life! Got the secondary spring from Dalton Industries. I like it to turn up to 7900+, and then pulldown wide open at 7500 +/- . I can easily adjust up or down from those numbers. I will try to find my notes from back then doing all of it as my memory has been downgraded due to my stroke. CVTech, and my Doo dealer, and Doo Talk we're very helpful to me as I was completely green on the PB 80 clutching. I would suggest perhaps you archive back, (2014,15,16, and 17', on DooTalk for the 900NA 4 stroke clutching, and tuning. It's not the fastest for sure, but it's hard fast out of the gate, a giant killer in the twistys, and always a joy to ride however you choose. I've run it many, many miles where able at WFO, and it just doesn't quit, or care as miles or how hard you run it mean nothing. Peace of mind indeed.

I could be of more help had I have had a chance to ride this year as I'm thinking it needs to be freshend up clutck wise.
