You want to point fingers

How about Ted Thompson and his great draft prospects over the the past five or so years

We found out how bad this team was last year with Rodgers hurt

They where a Super Bowl favorite this year

The whole defense will bee gutted after the season

Cobb gone

Hair gone

Offensive line is walking wounded every season

Outside of Mr Rodgers

This team will bee so vastly different next season

Could we say , rebuilding ? Honestly short of Rodgers

I live in Wisconsin, listed to at least some sports talk every day and have never heard anyone blame Rodgers till here. I don't think it's overwhelming sentiment that it's his fault. Many more people happy coach is gone. It's obvious players were not responding to McCarthy anymore. It was time. He has not improved at all in his reign. Same kick butt first half coach but cannot make adjustments. I would have fired him after that debacle in Seattle NFC championship game. That was unforgivable. It was time, for sure.

You would know better than I, but who is the Packer radio post game host? Isn't he the one that blamed Rodgers for a loss a couple weeks ago and called him a $93M paper weight?? They were replaying his comments here - just for S's & G's of course.

The New Packer coach is ....whoever Rodgers Ok's. I would assume he has a huge say in the next coach and would think it would be an offensive minded person since that is the way the NFL is going. McCarthy had a nice run but all things must come to an end but he will be back on the sidelines somewhere in quick fashion. The Pack have a lot of flaws they need to overcome but with Rodgers it makes the rebuild just a little bit easier.

I should clarify that I am not blaming Rodgers for anything, there has been a clear disconnect between coach & team as a whole. I just don't see a whole lot of productive years left. He, like any true competitor will not give it up until they are beat to ****, kind of hard to truly enjoy retirement in pain.-Mezz

Brady looks decent and he is what, 54?

I really haven't followed the NFL much last couple of years with the protests, etc. but as far as I'm concerned, and what little info I have, McCarthy could have finished out the miserable season and the Director of Player Personnel should have been the one to go immediately. How can Aaron Rodgers be anything with absolutely no one to throw to?

On Tuesday Bruce Arians said he's not interested in coaching the Packers. I think sometimes these guys know they're not going to get the job and do this to save face.
For those that haven't read it or heard about it, Sports Illustrated did a story on the Packers last week before they fired McCarthy on Sunday. It's very revealing as to how they got to this low point. I suspect that a lot of the unnamed sources are the guys that now work in Cleveland that used to be on the staff in Green Bay.

Here's the link if you care to read it, it sure makes a lot of sense when connecting the dots.

Ponder this... what Championship teams have are great leadership! Period! It’s not the offensive guru trend, it’s not the safe trend. Find somebody that is going to hold #12 and everybody in this building to a #LombardiStandard! Period! #losingsucks!

Very interesting read.

All of us that were around in the 70's and 80's know how this same type of leadership structure he's employing worked.

I don't find it interesting at all. I find it stupid. Your boss has just had a high profile public firing. You were just passed over for interim coach. That tells me you should shut up, put on your crap helmet , do your job, and wait out the crap storm until your new boss arrives.
Expressing your views on Twitter is not a good strategy in a crap storm.

It indicates that this is one dysfunctional organization and locker room. Losing is no fun but the Packers need talent and that’s not going to be fixed any time soon.

Moss tweeted about his dismissal Tuesday night, writing, "The Packers have informed me that there letting me go. #thankstwitter!"

I don't remember twitter making Moss post his rant, no need to "thank" twitter for your own actions. Wouldn't be surprised for a big house cleaning this offseason in GB.

I agree that Mike should of been gone last year! We also have not replaced some key players that have left & now we need some talent!
Aaron has been sacked WAY to many times, hints we need a couple New O linemen! Aaron has no one to throw to besides Adams, (Cobb's always hurt) hints we need a couple guys that can run routes & catch the ball! We have not put enough pressure on the other QBs, hints we need 1 or 2 New healthy pass rushers!
Losing is a disease & right now we have it bad! We have to many players not playing PACKERS football & it shows!
Keep Aaron's A$$ off the ground & he's got 4-5 good years left!

HELP WANTED; 1265 Lombardi, Green Bay.

I was surprised they let McCarthy go during the season, I expected it, but thought it would be after the last game. I think they'll take their time in the interview process, plenty of time for pick o' the litter. I hear the guy at Oklahoma might be ready. Josh D. from New England, and I wouldn't rule out Mike Pettine. He's done pretty well with what he had to work with and he's already on the staff.

So, who would you like to see as the next Head Coach in Green Bay? Rumors are welcomed and Damn Lies are acceptable.:snowman:

Aaron Rogers will pick the new coach, he was GootNooten's ear.
He held back performance on the Cards game until McCarthy was termed.

Anyone want some half price Packers/Lions tickets? Sad sacks screwed ticket owners price value.

Half price is way to much

You could have bought tickets for the Cardinals and Falcons for as low as $35 per ticket thru Ticketmaster end zone seats

Stubhub same

I can’t ever remember for the life of me actually buying tickets from Ticketmaster for a regular season home game

Never

When the Packers lose to Chicago next week , maybe the Detroit game will bee free minus the Ticketmaster fees LOL
