Groomer Down on Trail 13

We saw the groomer sitting on the trail between Bergland and Rockland on trail 13. It looked like a fairly tough repair with the front wheel assembly broken off on the left front. We were impressed that the groomer had been removed by the next day. It looks like the groomer and drag were towed out of that part of the trail.

The question, how do you tow that out? It did not look like any hard track machine like a dozer was used for extraction. Seems like that would have been a tough machine to move with the snow.

BTW, the groomer did break down at a good time. There was very little traffic the past few days. The trails were beat up a little in that section, but very worth the trip into heavenly snow.

Watersmeet just towed one in today, pulled it with the other groomer. They had to pull it several miles down the trail then a FR out to US2 from there they were about 20miles west of Watersmeet at that point they pulled her home right down the highway

this one drove on it's own power with no front wheel but they do have 3 pr side, also didn't have the track on the left side. Wejust disassembled the broken stuff and drove it home, a little easier said than done. It actually broke down last Wed afternoon.
