At work today, in the break room, I observed a 19 YO young lady playing solitaire .....with an actual deck of cards.....I had to ask if they went and made a card game out of a an ol 'puter standby game?

Obviously, she is an amazing young lady. where are you young men ?....LOL

I'm not sure if the younger men even realize the value in such a woman ??? I think they are too far gone !!!! What is attractive today seems to be a set of ear budds in the skull and the newest latest greatest gen of what I-phone they lease ( LOL ).... or their parents pay for ( X2 LOL ).

Well I have been riding in my dreams... but from the looks of Mark @ Timberline's post ... a road trip should be in short order.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we won't be riding until mid December at the minimum. The pattern looks terrible right now.

As most of us know the weather in the yoop can change on a dime. I've been up north where 30 plus inches melts away over a rainy 2 days then 30 plus of fresh snow falls the next couple days. I love Johns weather outlooks because they are the most accurate. But I've seen them be right but I've seen them be wrong at the same time. December to me is a month I don't normally ever think of riding the first month because if there is good snow does not always mean good trails. Or if they are good the flood of people ruin them and it's like the base never existed. But as the years go on I find my self less trail more off trail. Sadly that changes with the wife going up for her first ride this year. So we shall see.

Very little snow in Greenland today and zippo south of there in the UP. Very spotty in Lando and Phelps....it's going to be awhile but things can change fast in the LES snowbelts.

Was hoping to break in some new sleds. Last year was the first time we did not ride on the 1st for the last 17 years. Will just do snow dance and wait and see.... 5 days out, kinda sad!

Glad i put my 50 miles on two weeks ago. I was just in TL Friday, and it was 41 and raining, probably only a couple inches left, sun and warm temps this week. Boooo!

Ahhh brutal.........Here I was getting all excited with fast start. Trip planned for 15th now I'm little nervous.:concern:
