Thanks everyone! Had a great birthday weekend in the Keweenaw. Friday rode 95 miles from Greenland to Rousseau, Sidnaw, Silver Mountain, Alston, Twin Lakes and back.
Spent the night in Houghton, and woke up Saturday and trailered to Calumet. Rode absolute glass up 3 across Brockway to Copper Harbor. Ate lunch at the mariner north, and headed to High Rock Bay, Lac la belle, then across 132w and across 3 and shot to Eagle Harbor and checked out the lighthouse, then onto Eagle River and back down 3 to Calumet for 135 miles.
Sunday woke up and trailered down to Twin Lakes, shout out to Scottiking for letting us park at his place! Sundays ride we were going to test out the woman’s new 24 blizzard 600. I rode it 95% of the time, it was used with 3k miles and I was concerned how I got it so cheap so I wanted to make sure it ran good before I stuck some money into setting it up for her this offseason. It was an absolute riot to ride, and ran excellent! We were going to run down 109 to Alston and back, unfortunately 109 didn’t get groomed overnight, it wasn’t bad by any means, but they had 3 in such excellent shape, I’ve never seen it so smooth in that area so we shot down 3 to Mass instead, ran 13 south of town and back up to Greenland, checked out the Mass City bluff and shot back to twin lakes. Absolutely excellent trails, and was 45 degrees by the time we got back unfortunately. Such a shame the weather turned so fast, but all good things must come to an end! Happy B Day Indy! Seems like only yesterday it was all about lawn mowers but look at you today. Here is your post from your 15th birthday. At which time I think you were putting a weed eater engine on a bicycle.
at the beginning i was starting to quote everybody and have a seperate post for each bday wish but then realized there was so many! lol thanks again. made my day how my "JD buddies" gave me 35 b-day wishes so far! i started to mount the tire on the bike last night. will try some more tonight, teachers must've known it was my b-day, only about the 3rd time this whole year with no homework
