Keep sanding....

Glad you didn't short cut by leaving the base-boards down. If a job is worth doing...it is worth doing correctly.

There's some good stuff out there to fill the cracks with...other guys more knowledgeable about it can give you the type of stuff to use.

I googled "crack spackle" oh, it wasn't what I was looking for at all.

This old timer Earl Sell in town here said "asbestos? ah dont worry i installed asbestos over 50 years ago and i'm fine"...He is doing great for like 84 years old...he survived WW2 Battle of the Bulge............ For the most part putting a fan in the window to suck the stuff out while you wet and remove it is all you need. Now granted if you have the city remove it its a big deal, they plastic and duct tape the front door, place all of it in plastic bags(tied when full) and they had suits with mask on. We know because a blighted house was taken down 2 doors away. ..............floor is looking good by the way. I need to install mine then sand.
