Have you mowed your grass yet?

I could not put it off any longer, In some spots it was over a foot tall. Who would have thought I would be mowing on March 31.

I think I should, but I like it to get a little taller the first time I cut. I sweep it up and dump it where the dog dumps. Makes a good spot for her all summer.

Mowed today first time for the year, could have easily done it last weekend, but with the new fertilizer and lots of rain during the week I'm glad I waited. As another poster said, it crazy seeing the broad leaf weeds already, usually not spraying those till June!

Mowed for the first time today. The wife was after me to mow for the last few days, but as a true sled head I refused to mow until April when the trails are officially closed.......

Not yet, things are greening up, but not growing too fast. Cooler temps & lack of precip here have tappered the growth. As soon as we can get some consistent warmth & some rains it will begin. I hope we can start getting some precip & soon, things are VERY dry, fire danger is already up & the lake levels are not looking too good.-Mezz

Mowed 2X already. Got lots of dandelions that need pulled or sprayed. The morels are now starting to pop too. Rode the Harley yesterday for the 1st. Could have been riding for the last 3 weeks though. Everything is 1 month ahead of schedule. All else equal this means winter comes in November right.

I mowed the back thursday afternoon, it faces south, I mowed the front east and the side side on friday,
I fertilized everything on saturday, but haven't mowed the west side or the front west of my driveway.

About one month early, we already used the AC, the back of the house faces south and it can really heat up.

I have riden my bike ( one you pedal) about 9 times this season. The first day was tuesday march 13th, I last skiied at Big Powderhorn sunday moring the 11th. Last year I'm not sure I got out before may.

Still have not here, although it is starting to look like no one lives here. It should have gotten done this week, but no time to do it. It was my 2nd shift week and I'll have 69 hours after tonight. Hope to get it cut this next week, after that I may just give the lawn to the closest farmer for a hay crop.

Finally got ahead of it, five mowings so far.

Now with two days of rain coming this weekend should be shin deep by mid week. Gotta do something with all the gas drained out of the snowblower!

I still haven't yet, the grass is greening up but hasn't grown much yet. A few neighbors have but most have not yet. Hopefully another week or two before it really needs it. Last year at this time we got about 7" of snow and I got to go for an April ride.

Already mowed 3 times just recently last night. Definitely seems early but we also started planting corn earlier then ever before this year too.
