Looks like the new years weekend might be a little bit craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy.

Just returned from riding south range and south to twin lakes and its 40 plus degrees and melting fast the trails are a 2 at best rock and sticks all over there is nothing good happening right now they are gonna need a couple feet of snow to make it nice. the groomers were running yesterday on trail 3 from twin lakes to south range. all for nothing now.

I wouldnt say the grooming was all for nothing. There was a lot of traffic up there and I along with many sledders enjoyed the smooth trails. I know what you mean though, it's a shame you go through the effort to make trails better when mother nature wrecks it all.

Yea our group rode from bergland to houghton on saturday, trails were not so good until you got to twin lakes I would say and it was pretty bare as you got into houghton too. Hope it cools back off and starts snowing agian, hoping to come up and put some decent miles on in january.
