Help/Tips?

Posted in the boating/fishing section but got no response. Hoping maybe I can get some here. Anyways, four of us are headed to Kabetogama in a couple weeks, none of us have been there. We are staying at Driftwood Lodge and renting a boat. I'm looking for ideas on what to use for bait/tackle, etc. Thanks!!

good size lake I would do this no question

or u could just drive around aimlessly and fish next to other boats that u think know what they are doing.
prob best 175 u will spend on the whole trip

Ask the owners-----------they will give you a good direction to start out with. I fish it occasionally with a bunch of drunks but we can usually catch our limits. Try casting spinner baits up to the rocks for smallies or a live leech on a slip bobber there for bass or wallies.
