www.tracksusa.com he will have your rail ext and tunnel ext you can find a used 144 track on snowest all day.but why stop with a 1.5?yeah it will work but not as well as a 1.75 and some scratchers.also for tunnel ext you could use the back 1/4 of a 1m tunnel if you can find a parted out one.we have also made them out of diamond plate if you know some one with a break.I have done a few of my own zr to 136 144 and helped a few buds a few yrs back.tracks usa has all you need.also check track usa used or discount section he sells takeoffs for a ok price and if you buy a take off he will give you the kit price on rail and tunnel ext.also a m or 1m or xfire skid will bolt in your zr900 you could call www.countrycat.com in MN or www.thomassnowsports.com they both part factory demos factory salvage and just plane used

Great info ezra! I'd look into the SLP or the Vanamburg tunnel extensions. You actually just take off the back 1/4 of your stock tunnel and rivet on the extension. On the tracksusa tunnel you have to cut your stock tunnel to make it fit. There rail extensions are great,But it depends on how far ya want to go on the project you would be better off finding a 144 skid or just the rails on ebay off a MC.Then you will have to add drop brackets for the rear mounting points. I did this all on my 02 ZR 800 and it turned out great! And on the track you will have to go with a smaller driver if you go with a 1.75 lug or bigger.I first had a 1.5 ripsaw and it would rub just a tad every now and then. Good luck with the build.

Sorry to thread Jack, but strokeit what did you do to your front suspension to raise it so much? And did you have to extend your cables for that riser? One of the best looking zrs Ive ever seen, nice sled.

he is correct about drivers I forgot about that.did your sled not make it in to a rag a few yrs back stroke it?I saw 1 of my old sleds at waconia farm today that had a 136 kit on it when I sold it and the kid took it off and had a hole above his flap where I cut it out.it was kinda sad to see how bad it was trashed after a 16yr old had her for 3 yrs.BTW I dont know for sure if the 141 skid will bolt up I do know the 136 non snopro will.I am sure you could make it work I just have not done it.the one below is the one I just saw trashed

Just added the fox floats. The ones from a M-series fit. And i didn't extend my cables with the riser, The riser was the rox 3-6in adjustable riser.

ezra, Yep it was in American Snowmobiler and Snowtech

It depends how much trail riding you are talking about. If 80-90% then I would go 1 1/2" track or even 1 1/4". 1 3/4" or larger will give you vibration on hard pack. I don't think you would really like it in the long run. I have 1 1/2" X 144" now (it was on the sled when I got it) and I really like it. But when I change it I will go back to 1 1/4" or less. I just don't get off trail enough to need the bigger lug. Plus with 1 1/2" I can't pick it.

ezra - to funny! 100% accurate

I put a Tracksusa extension on my IQr and it worked out great. Each machine is different.
