To my knowledge the 600 is the same. The new 850 is narrower than the its gen 1 brothers by 2 inches, and the chassis is 4 inches narrower than the XS.
The 850 was specifically designed for the G4 chassis which doo hasnt done a chassis and specific engine build in 20 years.

Im sure this tech will come to the 600 in a few years.

I like that idea.... my Op don't mean much ..not an engineer , but seems well thought out....not just an easy way out in developing "whats new" As sledders we benefit from one manny pushing the next.

We call that lovely specimen "bullhead" in these here parts..... Nonetheless, it does look like one. Good one!-Mezz

LOL... I called it a bullhead....on a website...not sure which one. Good for me looks don't drive my sled purchase... function over fashion.

Engine and clutch look like nice upgrade. But I swear Doo tries to see how ugly of sled they can actually sell. Colored sleds look terrible imo.
They keep moving rider forward by the next sled we'll be sitting in front of handlebars! Lol

yes but what does that quote have to do with Polaris ...except that the winning iron dog teams chose them.

Not afraid to try new sleds. Doo might be next.
how about you?

got my ski doo email yesterday and noticed there isn't an XRS machine. or at least I haven't seen a 2017 XRS anywhere.

Did they do away with it?

No, its in the XS chassis with 800etec. Gade is orange and silver and MXZ is yellow/silver.

Just like in 2013 when doo released the XS, only summit, MXZX and RENEGADE X came in XS

Leaving out the freeride and XRS until 2014

Hello,
I spent an hour looking at Ski-Doo dot com and at first was taken aback to the nose change but it grew on me. Why did I become ok with the looks? Because, the machine is definitely going to be more powerful and handle even better than the current XS skid; that is a step forward that nobody will be able to match for 2017.

Oh my gosh! I wonder why dooskis are the only ones that self proclaim their brand is the best. It really is a ridicules statement.
