What is the ideal hitch ball height for an enclosed rnr inline trailer?

I would say keep the trailer level. I would do that for any trailer.

Ditto, make it so the trailer looks as level as possible. If you need a weight distribution hitch, get one. They make towing much safer/easier

X2 as simple as that. Sometimes you can turn hitch stem upside down remount ball to get a couple of more inches.

Thanks eagle1 Is that measurement to the top of the ball? Picking up the new trailer in Mi in a few weeks and would like to be prepaired. Please measure level trailer if you can.

I always measure from the ground to the top of the coupler (where the ball goes in) and that should be the ball height on your vehicle. Needless to say, make sure the trailer is level and on level ground. Call ahead and have the dealer/owner measure ahead of time and that may save you some grief.

X3 as stated above, keep the trailer as level as possible with whatever hitch level is needed for your vehicle to do so.

I do alot of towing and have "played around" with many diff. hitches over the years. best hitch I've found is the B and H tow and stow. you can adjust height and all the balls are always there. I agree with others that level is best esp. with tandom axle=otherwise one set of tires gets more stress and wears more. you never know what ideal height is until loaded,then it can change,thats why I love this hitch!

Just measured, 19" to the top of my ball. Depends on how much sag you have with your truck but that will put you in the ball park.

R&R has this listed in their specs avail online.

For their 7' & 7.5' inline snowmobile trailers, it's 18".

A good dealer will get you the right height and throw in a ball and ball mount that matches your tow vehicle.
