did u think about running the cooling system thrugh them or did u
to answer for andrew, ya its rhino liner and the plan was to carry the cordless and throw in a couple screws when needed and where they are the most affective.
Lenny I would more then love to make you up a set! Once I get set up better aka "my own house" call me we can talk.
They are made of chromoly 3/4 x.049 and to make a set for XP I would order 32 feet to give me room for miss cut. I had them panted then I rhino lined to top for traction. Seams to do the trick but won't know intil I get them in the snow.
Time I would say 4-6 hr fabbing them 1 hour welding and maybe 2 hr putting them on. All spread out over a week.
Cooing to be building another set I will take note on time and everything better this go around. I will also add more pics when I get on computer!
On it but i dont think it will be anytime soon I will be banging them out. I need to a place of my own at home to work on them so I can work during the week a little at a time but I am geting everything in line to get after it!
i spent some time installing my new B&M fab boards this weekend.
deff took some time 2 hrs just drilling out rivets
prob 2 hrs installing boards and a solid 2 laying out and drilling for screws .
fri night sat night sun am .
deff worth it
I got all of last winter on my boards with no screws and right at the end they started to get slick. I had HMK boots and they are soft sole so I am sure they helped. On #2 the screw where a most and helped a lot I will have to get with the guy I built them for and ask him what he thought.
I have sence sold off my Sled and are choosing to go the summer route with my rzr for a while! More a family sport then boondocking.
I am jiged up to make boards for xp I just need to finish up my garage to run a welder and hope to make some more custom boards with a little better fit and finish and with my own bender as well!
wow, the side hill king is off sleds for a while? We (the out west crew) still talk about how well you handled that sled. I may end up buying some B&M boards than cause I will need them by Jan. If for some reason you think it could happen before than just LMK otherwise it's riding season,,ya hoo!
