Hope I never pass this crew

Riding side by side or immediately behind at speed is safer than being all strung out. Not as much dust and you can see. It is usually the dust that gets you. Have seen much slower groups that were a lot more dangerous. At least these guys are paying attention.
I'd love to hear the logic on this.

I was thinking of a different title.

I hope I never "meet" this crew.

Riding blind on the wrong side is the scary part. I have met groups doing that little stunt on nice long straights. It's a downright pucker moment when you see the third or so sled coming at you in the snow du
Another scary part the footage is mainly from helmet cams. How often do you see the helmet turn to look for the other sleds?

It's one thing to slightly miss a turn. Not even close is a whole other realm. They are playing with bad odds.

That works too!

lol, you are going to get jumped!
I agree with riding just out of the dust behind and to the side, getting in the dust is like riding blind
Yeah I know. Stating the obvious gets you in trouble here. Dealing with a lot of guys that NEVER do anything wrong EVER. They also are old and have seen a lot so that makes them smarter than everybody else. People I like to avoid.

Definitely some crazy stuff right there! My wife and I just got back from Michigamme yesterday, on Friday 3/11 we were heading back to the motel from L'Anse and we had a group of sleds heading towards us that were riding almost side by side to stay out of the snow dust. Freaky situation as the second guy in line, riding 3/4 on our side did not have all that long to get back over before they would of hit us! Absolutely a close call/near miss on that one!
