When the garage door opened at my work, there was so much steam being generated, it made the sensors think there was something in the way. Took 5 minutes to get it to go down. Shop got chilly in a hurry with it being -20!

We were supposed to leave this morning to head to Crandon area, cancelled tonight and going to try tomorrow instead.

Currently -28 in Manitowish Waters Friday morning, High of -13 today. I think it might even get colder tonight, lows in 120's for the next 4 nights.

Longest stretch of sub-zero nights we’ve had up at Lake of the Woods for at least a couple of years and it looks like this will continue until the end of the month. Accompanied by strong winds, it’s making the wind chill and blowing snow brutal. Fish house generators and heaters are failing right and left on the lake.

Thermometer read a brisk -30 this morning. Seemed like the perfect day to hit the wind-blown Rainy River and try out the new Kawasaki windshield. Helps, but at these temps, it’s still a cold ride.

Awoke to -11 this morning with an additional 4" of fine LES. Currently -1, we have received over 16" here in the banana belt with well over 27" in Keweenaw county.

Skiroule, is that a1978 kawasaki intruder? I had one .many years ago.Thought kawasaki was going to stay with it for a long time.
Jake, you're close. It's a 1980 Intruder. I agree, they made a good sled but think they packed it in after the 82 model year.
